Greenwood "Horus on the Horizon"

(12th Planet Music)

When I first saw the cover I was pretty sure that that this was a power metal outfit. But hell no!

Greenwood could be described as the missing link between Tool and stonerrock. Mark Faulkner on

vocals has a very special kind of voice that gives this band a unique sound. To be honest this kind of Stoner/metal

is not my favourite cup of tea since I don´t like Tool very much, but I recognize talent when I hear it. Greenwood surley got talent.

When they go out on trippy journeys like they do in "Seas of another world" they are brilliant.

Greenwood are great musicians that handle thier instruments in a good way. One song that I really like is track number three,

Cosmic rebirth, I can hear a little Tony Iommi,a trace of Paranoid, So cool! All in all this is a great album

and if you´re in to Tool and stoner rock at the same time this must be one of the

years most interesting albums I guess.
